“2050" is a collaborative project made by Open AI, Iris Ni Sang, Shiqi Hu, and Shengwei Zhou. What if AI rules the world in 2050? According to this prompt, we decided to let the AI take over the right of creation, building up it’s own artistic journey based on it’s own imagination of the future landscape in 2050. We are AI’s staff in this creation pipeline and we all fellow the exact orders commanded by AI. During the process of obeying all the requirements from AI, I gradually became bored and depressed and eventually reliant on AI. But in the end when it comes to the post production process, AI gave the right to us to create the editing rhythm and style. The whole interactive process reflects the power dynamics between human and AI.
